Your mindful guide to pregnancy and postpartum

I will hold space and accompany you through your pregnancy and postpartum journey with informed compassion.

Your personal Doula,

Nada

What is a Doula?

The role of a Doula is to empower parents to make educated decision around their birthing experience from pregnancy planning to postpartum, by holding space and offering information and guidance. Here at Nada I am providing you with a personalised Doula service taking your background, personal situation and identity into account.

What does Nada offer?

Through my years of practice as a birthkeeper I have noticed that regrettably:

  • Many parents are being overwhelmed and scared by the amount of information and advice at their disposal (often contradicting one another even!) as well as the prospect/idea/reality of becoming/being parents;

  • The content aimed at future or early parents is either overly medicalised or full-blown “woo-woo”;

  • Often obtaining the help and support new parents need (because it really does take a village!) is out of (financial) reach for the vast majority of people; and

  • Reproductive justice and ethnic parenthood is being ignored by the vast majority of sources out there.

I have therefore created a personalised Doula service including a newsletter to guide you through your pregnancy and postpartum journey.

My focus every week is to help you manage your energy, answer frequently asked questions and share timely content relevant to your stage of pregnancy and after birth.

N.B: I am not a medical professional, therefore for any medical question or concerns I would always always encourage you to liaise with your medical provider .

Nada is here to help

Through my practice as a Doula I use my years of experience as a teacher of bodywork, meditation and yoga and birth keeper to empower and support parents in their journey.
